Welcome to our online store. Here you will find a wide variety of traditional Hardanger designs created by the designer Colette Robinson, as well as designs by her, which include speciality stitches.

We only stock chart packs, no kits. Included in the pack is a colour picture of the finished article, a list of materials required, instructions, stitch diagrams, a full working chart and where required a placement chart.

Supplying our products to you direct from the designer enables us to keep our prices down. All our prices include postage and packing. Payments may be made using your credit card or your PayPal account, these are handled for us by PayPal Ltd using their secure payment system, so you can feel confident in your purchase. You may also order by post if you prefer.

New For July - Christmas Sampler

We are so sorry, we know its only July and there are still five months to go before Christmas, but you have to leave yourself plenty of time to stitch this beautiful 'Christmas Sampler'.

This stunningly colourful design in Christmas Reds, Greens and Golds can either be framed or finished as a bell pull.

The design when completed measures 5" x 12.75" (13cm x 32cm) when stitched on #28 Brittney fabric.

Winter Sparkle

This is our second festive offering this month, called 'Winter Sparkle'.

The design uses White Anchor pearl cottons stitched on #28 Brittney Lurex (Silver Flecked White) fabric.

The completed design measures 8.5" x 8.5" (22cm x 22cm).

Peaches & Cream

This next design is called 'Peaches & Cream' which takes its place in the samplers collection.

This design was stitched using Caron Wildflowers, 'Flamingo' and also Anchor white pearl cottons then finished with Mill Hill beads. The finished size of the design measures 4.75" x 8" (12cm x 20cm) when stitched on #28 Brittney fabric.

Pure White

Also this month, another new design to join the sampler collection. This one is called 'Pure White'.

This design when completed measures 5" x 5.75" (13cm x 15cm) when stitched on #28 Brittney fabric.

If you are just starting out in Hardanger, then 'Pure White' is an ideal design to start with, as it offers an easy introduction to Hardanger.

Table Runner

Also for July, we have introduced this stunning 'Table Runner' design. This is a large design which would look beautiful on any dinner table.

The completed design measures 25" x 11.25" (64cm x 29cm) when stitched on #28 Brittney fabric.

On Point

July also sees the launch of the second mat design, this one is called 'On Point', which takes its place in the mats collection.

The completed design measures 11.5" x 11.5" (29cm x 29cm) when stitched on #28 Brittney fabric. The use of Anchor #8 and #12 pearl cottons in white gives the elegant white on white Hardanger look.

Hearts & Flowers Biscornu

For July we are pleased to release our Hearts & Flowers Biscornu. This is the first Biscornu design by Col's Creations and can be found in the Needlerolls & Biscornus section of the store.

The Hearts & Flowers Biscornu was stitched using Caron Wildflowers and DMC stranded cottons on #28 count Brittney fabric.

New for June - Lace Elegance

June sees the introduction of another new stunning Mat design. This one is called Lace Elegance and can be found in the Mats collection.

This Mat was stitched using Anchor #8 and #12 pearl cottons on #28 count Brittney fabric.

Hayley Needleroll

June also sees the introduction of another new needleroll design. This one is called 'Hayley' and can be found in the Needlerolls collection.

This needleroll was stitched using Anchor #8 and #12 pearl cottons, DMC and Caron Wildflowers on #28 count Brittney fabric.

At Col's Creations, we carry a growing range of traditional hardanger designs. Most of our charts are quite simple, which makes them ideal for an easy introduction into hardanger. All of the designs have been produced by the designer Colette Robinson. By dealing direct with the designer we can reduce our costs, which then means that we are able to supply our chart packs direct to you at great prices.
All of our charts contain full design information, stitch diagrams, cutting charts and where required placement charts. The various designs have been stitched on a variety of fabrics using threads from DMC, Anchor and also Caron. Most designs incorporate the same basic Traditional Hardanger core stitches, which include Cross Stitch, Back Stitch, Doves Eyes, Woven Bars, Blanket Stitch, Algerian Eyelets, Kloster Blocks and Satin Stitch to name but a few. All charts come complete with stitch diagrams and easy to follow
instructions. We take orders online and also by post if you prefer. When ordering by post, you will need to download a postal order form
